Art Breakers is a 501 (c) 3 organization, structured to adhere specifically to the rigorous demands of the IRS to make sure, again, that your money gets to local cancer patients that need our help.

Artbreakers thanks the Donna Foundation and Memories of Love

Recently Artbreakers became aware of a local wife and mother who needed help.  Mary Ann and her family were affected like so many by the economy.  Her husband a contractor was unemployed and the family faced difficult financial times and cancer at the same time.  

In January Mary Ann was diagnosed with breast cancer and she turned to Artbreakers for assistance.  Artbreakers was able to provide some assistance "but Mary Ann's needs required a little more than we could provide" according to Gaye Jones, President of Artbreakers.  "Pier Fitts our founder and I began to reach out to other groups and found several that were willing to lend a helping hand.  Some were charities like ours and other help came from individuals who just wanted to help." 

Artbreakers extends a big Thank You to The Donna Foundation and Memories of Love.  Both were instrumental in helping Mary Ann and her family get thru this very stressful time.  "So many times charities see other charities as competitors," said Pier Fitts.  "This is an example how the combined resources of three wonderful groups worked together to help someone in need".

Artbreakers also thanks Cyndi Pennington of Housekeeping Etc. and Chef Sharron Montes De Oca for their generous donations.
