Artbreakers mission is to make sure that men and women going through the diagnostic process of cancer have the money to continue the journey. There are many frightening moments in this particular process, though none is worse than being told that your insurance won’t cover the additional test, or won’t cover the cost of needed chemotherapy once diagnosed. Our mantra again, “we can change the world one human being at a time.” We want to be there for that patient, both financially and emotionally.
In order for a group like ours to exist, we depend greatly on the generosity of the local business community. We are fortunate to have office space in downtown Saint Augustine at 130 King Street thans to local realtor and art gallery owner Donna Wendler. Donna not only donates office space but is an avid supporter at all of our events.
Artbreakers is a not for profit organization recognized and regulated by the IRS as a 501 (c) 3 charity. Our board members are volunteers who share the common goal of helping uninsured and underserved cancer patients in our community.
